At Ditton Primary Academy School, we value the whole child and are committed to providing opportunities for all children to develop their interests and talents.
We have a range of after school clubs that are led by our school staff as well as outside providers such as Widnes Vikings, Widnes Tennis Centre and Andrew Curphey Theatre Company.
The clubs available change each half term, with parents and children being able to select the clubs they are interested in. We aim to provide all children with at least one club of their choice - often children are able to access multiple clubs dependent on numbers.
We are also a member of Children's University. Children's University is a charity that works in partnership with schools to develop a love of learning in children. This is done by encouraging and celebrating participation in extra-curricular activities in and outside of school. Children who participate in Children's University have the opportunity to learn in a rich range of contexts, experience new places, visit universities and attend their own graduation ceremonies. This adventure introduces children to the joy of learning, brings a sense of wonder in the world around them and develops their confidence and aspirations for the brightest futures.
